First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage… Then Comes the Baby in the Baby Carriage

Hey Diosas!

Okay real talk… I’ve definitely been a little MIA over here. And instead of pretending like I’ve been on top of everything, I’m just gonna be honest with you.

Life happened. Big time.

Not in a bad way — but in a everything-changed kind of way. Engagement, wedding planning, marriage, pregnancy, becoming a mom… yeah, that’ll do it.

For a minute, Diosa Boutique took a back seat. And instead of beating myself up over it, I chose grace. Because growth doesn’t always look productive. Sometimes it looks like pausing, reflecting, and learning who you are in a whole new season.

So here we are.

The Timeline (Because Life Got Real Real Fast)

Let me break it down for you, because it honestly still feels crazy:

First — I got engaged!
Then — I planned a whole wedding (shoutout to every bride ever)
Then — I got married!

Cue the classic saying:

“First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage.”

Yep… that last part came next.

Not long after the wedding, I found out I was pregnant.

Plot twist of my life — in the best way.

While I was pregnant, something else started growing too…

Diosa Events

Planning my own wedding unlocked something in me. I fell in love with the details, the emotions, and the behind-the-scenes magic. That’s when I realized I wanted to help other couples plan weddings and events that feel intentional and stress-free.

Then came the biggest moment of all…

Baby Santiago arrived!

And just like that — everything changed.

Motherhood Changed Me (In the Best Way)

Becoming Santiago’s mom cracked me open.
It made me softer.

More intentional.

More present.

Some days I feel like superwoman.

Some days I’m in pajamas at 2pm holding a baby burrito and drinking cold coffee.

Both versions are valid.

Motherhood taught me that pace matters.

Energy matters.

And showing up looks different now — and that’s okay.

Marriage, Business & Real Life

Being a wife taught me about partnership, patience, and building something together.
And honestly? All of this made me love love even more —the quiet moments, the big milestones, the messy middle parts.

That’s what Diosa Boutique has always been about too.

It’s not just a women’s online boutique — it’s a lifestyle.
Outfits for real life. For brunch, errands, date nights, Target runs, and everything in between.
I curate pieces for women who actually live life — just like you.

Diosa Events (My Plot Twist Business)

Diosa Events grew from the same heart as the boutique — a love for meaningful moments and beautiful details.

Planning my own wedding showed me how emotional and special this season is. Now I get to help other couples plan weddings and events that feel like them.

And don’t worry—Diosa Boutique isn’t going anywhere.

It will always be my first baby.

And Now… Here We Are
Now I’m here —a wife, a mom to baby Santiago, an online boutique owner, and an event planner.

This season isn’t about perfection.

It’s about alignment. Grace. Growth.

Learning who I am now and honoring that version of me.

And honestly… I’m excited for what’s next.

What’s Coming
Diosa Boutique is just getting better — more intentional, more elevated, more me.

And stay tuned because next up on the Diosa Life Blog… I’ll sharing my birth story! Fun stuff!

Con mucho amor,

Cyn Barahona
